For the second year now, Specialty Cars Service Center has sponsored the Riesentoter Porsche Club's "Planes and Porsches" charity event. This event was held at the Reading Airport and this year benefited the Miller Keystone Blood Center. The event consisted of a show n' shine car show and a fully sanctioned autocross event with 50 plus cars entered in the competition alone. The event also included a " silent auction" with vendors providing donated products to be auctioned off to the highest bidder; all proceeds were donated to the charity. 

 Nick Burkit competed in the autocross with his stock 1972 911S shown below. Nick had an impressive 3rd fastest time of the day with a 58.135. This put him 1st in his class "E" stock. Although the weather may have slowed the autocross times some, everyone still had a great time on and off the course.
